The Scott and White Health Plan is a health maintenance organization serving 177,000 members, most of whom are employees of Texas state government or universities. It operates 19 clinics within its network, all within the state of Texas.

Scott and White also provides Medicare supplemental plans, which are required to cover Medicare deductibles and coinsurance for patients also eligible for Medicare.

All cochlear implant services are covered benefits under the Scott and White Health Plan. Enrollees are responsible only for 20 percent of allowable charges for the procedure, and $15 per visit for an unlimited number of post-operative aural rehabilitation and programming sessions.
