A Medicaid provider in any State must comply with other Federal regulations enforced by the US Department of Justice.

These include non-discrimination based on race, color, or national origin (45 CFR Part 80, disability (45 CFR Part 84), age, 45 CFR Part 91), protection of human subjects of research (45 CFR Part 46) and fraud and abuse (42 CFR Part 455).

Although these regulations are not considered conditions of participation under the Medicaid program, violation may result in suspension or termination from Medicaid.
